Product Overview
PINE (Cedar Pine, in Russian language) NUT OIL *Pinus Sibirica* has a soft taste, light yellow colour and very little smell of nuts (almost no smell), almost unpresented. It is easily digested, does not contain cholesterol and perfectly balanced with nutrients for the human body.
Pine nuts are edible seeds of certain species of pine trees. We call them nuts only because of their shape.Pine nuts (gymnosperms / голосеменные) are evolutionarily separated from flowering plants (angiosperms / покрытосемянные) to which all other nuts belong.
The entire process is performed exclusively by hand. We use only wild-grown nuts, harvested from cones of trees that grow in the pristine forests of Siberia, Russia. The nuts are taken from fallen cones, ensuring that only ripe cones are collected. This ethical approach allows you to enjoy all the benefits of ripe nuts.
During the oil production process the nuts are unshelled by a wooden drum and hand sorted. The unshelled nuts are not cleaned in water which helps preserve alive pine pollen. It contains more additional phytonutrients.
Since ancient times, Siberian Pine nut oil (also known as Cedar nut oil, Pinus sibirica L.) has been considered one of the most healing products. Canadian Western red cedar Thuja plicata L. is a different tree.
Siberian Pine Nut oil contains vitamin E, also known as “the vitamin of youth”, as it slows down the ageing process.Vitamin E’s content in pine oil is five times higher than in olive oil. The amount of vitamin P, which contributes to reducing cholesterol level, is three times higher in Siberian Pine nut oil than in fish oil. Siberian pine nut oil also contains potassium, calcium, sodium, iron, manganese, copper, zinc, iodine, and boron.
A - the vitamin of growth and development; boosts the immune system, normalizes the metabolism of fats and carbohydrates.
E - the vitamin. It is an antioxidant which promotes the absorption of proteins and fats. It is also involved in the tissue respiration processes.
B-B1, B2, B3 - group of vitamins. These vitamins normalize the performance of nervous and digestive systems, are part of a number of enzymes, and participate in the regulation of redox processes. They also participate in the visual function of the eye and in the synthesis of hemoglobin, ensure trophic and regenerative functions in organs and tissues, especially in the skin.
Siberian Pine Nut oil is Super Food and contains the following micronutrients:
* Magnesium contributes to bone formation, reduces hyper nervousness, normalizes metabolism of carbohydrates, and activates many enzymatic processes.
* Zinc is involved in the synthesis of collagen, stimulates “killer” cells, and breaks viral replication.
* Copper deficiency leads to disrupted iron absorption.
* Cobalt regulates the cytochrome system and improves the absorption of iron in the gastrointestinal tract.
Scientists have found that the oil has a pronounced prebiotic effect. Prebiotics promote the growth of beneficial microorganisms, such as healthy gut bacteria. A spoon of pine (cedar) nut oil on an empty stomach acts as a natural prebiotic, easing the digestion process and relieving symptoms of various digestive disorders.
According to a recent study, published in the Journal of Functional Foods, pine nut oil has anti - inflammatory properties due to its high content of Pinolenic acid. Scientists concluded that this substance fights inflammation and provides powerful natural protection against infections.
Pine Nut oil is the richest and most balanced in content of polyunsaturated fatty acids and vitamins A, E, D, K among all types of vegetable oils. The ratio of Omega-9 (25% of total mass), Omega-6 ( 44% ), Omega-3 ( 21% ) as 1:2:1 is the most optimal for the hormonal balance, vitamins, prostaglandin synthesis, and the formation of cell membranes.
OMEGA - 3 in Pine Nut oil is represented by pinolenic fatty acid - this is an isomer of gamma linoleic acid, which is found only in coniferous trees.
PINE NUT OIL contains a large number of complex lipids that are not specific to vegetable oils such as glycolipids, sulfolipids and cerebrosides, which are involved in the metabolism of nervous and brain tissue.
